We understand that coming along to a new place for the first time can be a daunting prospect.  At Elim Christian Fellowship we do everything that we can to make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible. On this page we hope that you find relevant information that will help you as you begin your journey at ECF.

FAQ'S

WHAT TIME DO THE SERVICES START?

We have a choice of two Sunday morning services! 9.30 - 11.00am & 11.30 - 1.00pm

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Most people who attend are usually dressed in a casual manner. Our services are relaxed and informal, so don't worry about dressing up.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Paisley Central has a small limited car park for those with infants or a disabled badge. Nearby council car parks in Johnstone Street and at the Watermill Hotel are free to use on a Sunday.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?

As you enter our venue you will be met by one of our amazing volunteers. They will welcome you and direct you to a seat. If you have any questions, feel free to ask this team upon arrival or throughout the service.

Normally after sung worship we have a short sermon.  Our talks are challenging, biblical, inspiring and applicable to all of our lives. We design them to last around 25-35 minutes.

At the end of the sermon we reflect on what we have heard and respond, usually by singing another song.

At the end, our welcome team would love to connect with you in the visitors area at the back of church where you will be served refreshments, we look forward to meeting you there!

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We have a stimulating programme for all kids aged 1-11. These start after our time of sung worship and it is made clear from the front when it's time for your child to go. Simply look out for one of our team who will gladly direct you to the right age group for you and your child.  If you are a parent of teenagers, you'll be glad to know that we also have a weekly youth programme which is on a Thursday night.

If you have a newborn child less than a year old, you can relax and enjoy the service in our specially designed environment for nursing mothers. You will find a live audio feed of the person who is speaking in the main hall. Ask the team to direct you to this area if you require.

DO YOU HAVE ANY EVENTS FOR NEWCOMERS?

We have a Visitors Area after our Sunday morning gathering - a place where you can connect with some of our team over tea, coffee and cake.

We have a welcome group which meets regularly during the week for those who are new to ECF. This is a relaxed and informal way to connect with others at ECF and to find out more about us. If you would like to find out more about this, please speak to one of our team at the Visitors Area after the service.

We understand that bringing your child into a new environment can be a little bit scary. At Elim Christian Fellowship, our Kids Workers go out of their way to make sure that you and your children are put at ease and have a fantastic time with us. Our ethos is to love children and equip them for life so that they can confidently impact the world around them for Jesus. On this page we hope that you find relevant information that will help you understand what is avaialable for your children.

KINGDOM KIDS

Age Range: 3-11

Location: ECF: Paisley Central

Time: During a Sunday Celebration

During our church celebrations, after our time of singing, we invite the children to join with the others in their Kids Zone. They are supervised by a PVG checked Kids Worker and are given fun, interactive tasks for 45 minutes. All Kids Workers wear Kingdom Kids lanyards, so feel free to ask one of them for details and they will be more than happy to guide you.

CRECHE FACILITIES

Age Range: Newborn - 3

Location: ECF: Paisley Central

Time: During a Sunday Celebration

We have fantastic creche facilities available. You can sign your child in and leave them in a secure environment with our team of qualified, PVG checked, Kids Workers. You are also welcome to stay with your child in the creche and meet some of the team. The creche finishes at the end of the service where you can collect your child and sign them out.

Here at ECF, we are passionate about discipling our young people. Our aim is to love them, equip them for life and to see them impact their worlds. The youth is led by PVG checked leaders who have successfully completed our Equipped to Serve leadership programme.

UPWARD CALL COMMUnity (S1 - S6)

Our youth cells are for those of high school age and meet on a weekly basis. These are vibrant small groups in which there is a time to socialise, to worship, read the bible and apply it to their lives. We encourage peer-led cell groups and are always looking to develop young leaders many of whom have gone on to lead in greater capacities within ECF and beyond.

Time: Every Thursday during term time, 7.30pm - 9.00pm

Location: ECF Paisley Central

We have a large number of young adults who are part of our church, from students to young professionals. We would love to have you come and join us! We also run a leadership development programme for young adults called RISE.

SERIOUS4GOD SCOTLAND

Serious4God is Elim's national youth department. Our young people are regularly involved with the various events which run throughout the year including an annual Light Night gig and the Scottish Youth Camp.

Every year, our young people attend Limitless Festival- a large scale youth event for the whole of the UK.
