Youth Cell groups
Cell groups are a vital part of Elim Christian Fellowship’s vision and this is also the case for the youth. They are a place where young people learn and discuss the wonders and treasures of God and how to practically live out a life that honours Christ. We believe that fellowship is a vital part of any disciple’s life and the cell group allows for accountability, prayer and Godly friendships.
There are currently two cell groups that you can join:
• Ages: 12 - 15
Venue: Elim Christian Fellowship, Gordon Street, Paisley
Time: Thursdays, 17.15 – 18.30!
• Ages: 16 – 18
Venue: Elim Christian Fellowship, Gordon Street, Paisley
Time: Thursdays, 19.30 – 21.00!
Youth Encounter
The youth encounter is a weekend of biblical teaching and ministry that are vital to Christian growth and where young people literally ‘encounter’ the goodness, faithfulness and majesty of Jesus. The weekend is aimed at new young Christians, but is also hugely beneficial to anyone that has been a Christian for years. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like more information.
ECF Youth Summer Camp
During the long sweaty months of summer, ecf youth hosts various social events, from barbecues to summer camping trips. This is a chance for the whole youth to get together and rid themselves of summer boredom that creeps in when there is no maths homework to do! This year we camped at Lapwing Lodge where there was raft building, obstacle courses and orienteering. This could realistically be one of the top twenty camping trips of your teens, so get off your bottom and come join us. Information on summer events will be posted on the website closer to the time.
Youth Outreach
At ecf youth, we believe that we are indebted to share the gospel to all people (Romans 1 v 14). To do this ecf youth hosts a monthly outreach social event to which any young person can be invited. This ranges from activities in Soccer Circus to ‘The Sanctuary’ which is an acoustic night that supports up and coming bands from the Paisley. Each outreach is a great time to socialise and to hear the gospel in a fresh and innovative way that is designed to make young people think about Jesus Christ.
