Margaret Stark

Hi, I’m Margaret Stark.  I have lived in Paisley all my life and have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  In my younger years, my husband and I turned to alcohol which became an addiction and caused no end of destruction to my family. 

After years of struggle and the end of my marriage, I got to know some Christians who invited me along to their church meetings.  I began to detest the person I had become. I then realised that God loves me.  I gave my life to Jesus and rejected the alcohol. 

The famous words “I once was lost but now am found,” are especially true for me and I want everyone to experience freedom from addiction through the power of Jesus. 

It’s wonderful to be part of the church here and every week I meet in a cell group with other grannies!  We love to pray for each other, our families and the church .
