Vision Statement

Our vision is the outworking of our purpose.

Loving God
Out of devotion to Jesus, we will prepare ourselves and allow Holy Spirit to prepare us for His Return when He will come for His Bride, the Church (Revelation 19:7, Ephesians 5:27). We will be a church who will seek God for Himself, and not only for His blessings. Our love and intimacy will grow as we keep Him as our focus.

We will seek to worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:23) expecting Him to inhabit our praises and to make His Presence real. Recognising that Elim Christian Fellowship belongs to Jesus, we will be led by His Spirit into His plans for us. He will lead – we will listen and follow.

Equipping People
We will be changed and equipped by Holy Spirit both directly and through His gifts and ministries in the Church. Just as David helped dejected and disillusioned people to become a mighty army in the Cave of Adullam (1 Samuel 22), so Jesus will heal and restore lives, giving us a purpose and a destiny, and enabling us to fulfil that destiny for Him.

The Word of God will be honoured and will determine our lifestyle as we seek to live holy lives. We will be encouraged to exercise our God-given talents, gifts and ministries, and to do so with godly character and attitude.
